    • 1. Disconnect Power
      Always disconnect the vehicle battery before working on any electrical connections.

    • 2. Strip the Wire
      Strip the insulation from the 1/0 AWG wire to expose clean copper strands. Remove only enough insulation to fully seat the wire inside the terminal barrel.

    • 3. Insert the Wire
      Fully insert all copper strands into the ring terminal barrel. Ensure no strands are left outside of the terminal.

    • 4. Crimp the Terminal
      Use a hydraulic crimper or hammer-style crimper to apply a solid, even crimp. A proper crimp is essential for high-current performance and long-term reliability.

    • 5. Seal the Connection (Optional)
